Check in for the first in a new series here on the Game Audio Podcast as Anton and special guestΒ Andreas AlmstrΓΆm review hot indie libraries. This episode features unique offerings from Rabbit Ears Audio’sΒ REA011 Jet Turbines library and New Sound Labs NSL008 Hard Drives. Listen in as they discuss the finer points of their use as sound design elements as well as their general feelings about libraries and sound recording.

  2. That is a great find! I’m actually a mod on freesound, so i’m a bit stumped i didnt see this one before πŸ™‚
    Compared the the NSL release though it doesnt stack up, the NSL has a ton of great manipulation sounds. Also the quality of the recordings themselves is a lot better. I would put both in my library without much hesitation but the NSL would get a lot more use.
